La ciencia determina sin discusión alguna que la vida empieza en el momento de la Fecundación o Concepción (unión del óvulo con el espermatozoide). En ese mismo instante se produce un “entrelazamiento biológico” entre el cerebro de la mamá y el Cigoto (célula resultante de dicha unión), que valga la aclaración ya no es la mamá o el papá, sino una persona independiente y genéticamente nueva. Esto marca también el inicio de la formación de las células que darán origen a todos los órganos del cuerpo, entre ellos el Sistema Nervioso Central.

El cerebro, la genética , las hormonas y la biología toda de la mama, está preparada para ser una persona gestante. La evolución biológica ha preparado a la mujer para llevar en su seno al niño por nacer. Hay cambios neurofisiológicos y hormonales en el cerebro de la embarazada, que la capacitan emocionalmente para llevar adelante el proceso de gestación más allá del marco en el que se haya producido el embarazo, deseado o no.

¿Y qué del embrión? El embrión ( nombre que se utiliza hasta la semana 12, en la que pasa a llamarse feto ),comienza a tener neuronas a partir del día 18 o antes de la quinta semana del embarazo, a la novena el semana el Sistema Nervioso Central ya está formado. Entonces, cuando la embarazada tiene entre 5 y 7 días de retraso en su ciclo menstrual, ya se inició el desarrollo de lo que va a ser el SNC, el cual va a ir desarrollándose y modificándose a lo largo de toda la vida.

El embrión a partir de la 5°semana o 20 días de retraso del período aproximado, tiene la capacidad de registrar sensaciones (no emociones, las cuales el ser humano las empieza a producir luego de la tercera semana del nacimiento).

No hay diferencia desde la Neurociencia en el daño que se produce en la psiquis de una mujer que se practico un aborto legal o ilegal. Psicológicamente va a sentir el impacto traumático durante el resto de su vida, ya que el cerebro de ella está preparado naturalmente para ser mama. En mi experiencia de la practica medica desde la psicoterapia que realizo en mi consultorio puedo observar continuamente a mujeres que abortaron hace muchos años y que actualmente tiene sesenta , setenta años y aun de edades avanzadas que recuerdan con tristeza y dolor el momento que se realizaron el aborto.

Es por esto que la legalización del aborto en la Argentina solo provocara que muchas más mujeres de todas las edades , condición social, cultural o económica tengan que recurrir al Sistema de Salud Mental público o privado por Depresión , Trastorno por Estrés Post Traumático y Adicciones, entre otras patologías psiquiátricas.

Salvemos a la mujer de cometer un error a, protejamos al niño por nacer. Esto es lo mejor para la Argentina.
