Los sumarios administrativos se iniciaron en marzo de 2020 “a partir de información que presentaron algunos trabajadores”. Luego, tras “un año medio de investigación”, mediante declaraciones de empleados y recolección de evidencia, la dirección jurídica del hospital “remitió los sumarios a la PIA”. “Se llamó cuatro veces a declarar al doctor Kambourian para que haga los descargos, nunca se presentó. Luego, en agosto de 2021 se ofreció toda la información a la PIA, y ellos hicieron la denuncia penal”, manifestó Trotta. Y agregó: “En 35 años, el hospital nunca tuvo ni tarjeta corporativa para gastos personales ni autos para uso particular”.
