DIA INTERNACIONAL DE LA MUJER; JOSE NAROSKY DESTACA MUJERES DE LA HISTORIA – AFORISMOS
Por conmemorarse el próximo 8 de el “Día Internacional de la Mujer”, el afamado escritor José Narosky, autor del libro SI LA MUJER…recordó sus aforismos de “la mujer” y asegura que “la conmemoración deriva, de un hecho incomprensible, donde el abuso y la explotación laboral de obreras, causó la muerte de 146 de ellas. Pero esta circunstancia es suficientemente conocida para reiterarla. Fue el incendio -no se pudo acarar nunca si fue intencional o no- de una fábrica de camisas en la ciudad de Nueva York, en marzo de 1911”.
“La discriminación, una de las vertientes más torpes del racismo, había condenado por siglos a la mujer, incluso a negar su naturaleza. El varón, físicamente más fuerte, impuso como norma legal su superioridad. Porque olvidó que la ley del más fuerte es la negación de la ley. Y el fanatismo, una ceguera que puede acompañarse de buena vista, impide el pensar, pero no el actuar. Porque en el arco iris de los sexos, los colores, las religiones, las razas, cada actor juega un importante papel. Parece oportuno mencionar algunos ejemplos de mujeres, que lograron metas que parecían inalcanzables. Pero que tuvieron el talento y la voluntad de alcanzarlas” detalla Naroky.
“En Latinoamérica, recordemos a Juana Azurduy, atravesando los difíciles caminos y quebradas del Alto Perú (hoy Bolivia) al frente de un ejército de 2.000 cholos (campesinos), en la lucha por la independencia de estas tierras. Perdió en esa lucha a su esposo y a sus 3 hijos. Pero frente a la adversidad, así como algunos frenan su avance, otros redoblan su impulso, como fue su caso.
Otro ejemplo de mujer especial fue el de la aviadora argentina Carola Lorenzini, que en el ya lejano 1935, subía a su avión hasta alcanzar casi los 6.000 m., el record sudamericano femenino de altura, confirmando que quien tiene ideas es fuerte, pero quien tiene ideales, es invencible. Otro ejemplo de aptitud, talento y voluntad, lo encontramos en la escultora Lola Mora, salteña por haber nacido en “La Candelaria” que pertenecía en 1866, año en que nació, a la intendencia de Salta. Y se la menciona como tucumana, porque dicha intendencia pertenecía al obispado tucumano. Fue la cabal demostración que la voluntad de triunfar, no otorga el triunfo. Pero lo acerca.
Viajó a Europa a los 20 años para perfeccionarse; y los museos de Italia y Francia se engalanaron con sus obras”.
Se considera “La Fuente de las Nereidas” su escultura más valiosa. Pero en casi todas las provincias argentinas, hay obras suyas”.
Asimismo, Narosky agrega “No pueden faltar en esta lista de valiosas mujeres latinoamericanas –se que muy incompleta- Alfonsina Storni y Gabriela Mistral. Alfonsina sentía que impedir a un poeta su canto, es como poner cerrojo a una ilusión. Su aptitud poética, la transformó en la gran figura de la poesía argentina. Su voluntaria y trágica muerte, me hace pensar con su desaparición, que mucha poesía murió sin escribirse. Con decir que una poetisa chilena, fue galardonada con el Premio Nobel de Literatura en 1945 –primer latinoamericano que recibió esa distinción- estaría todo dicho. Su verdadero nombre, Lucila Godoy, de hermosos ojos negros suavemente morenos, tuvo un drama de amor juvenil, que marcó toda su vida. El suicidio –sin explicación alguna- de su novio. Hay heridas que no se borran, aunque no se noten. Ni el Premio Nobel atenuó su dolor. Porque para el hombre el amor es lo más importante. Pero para la mujer, es el todo”.
Según Narosky “La posición actual de las mismas –que significa comprensión- ha mejorado ostensiblemente en el último siglo. Se ha confirmado totalmente, que el hombre no es superior a la mujer. Sólo que es “diferente”. Y pocos, suelen tener la intuición de estas, ni su sexto sentido y no siempre su ternura”.
“También son innumerables los ejemplos de mujeres no latinoamericanas que por volar alto, dejaron huellas muy profundas. Dos ejemplos solamente.
No podría faltar Madame Curie, científica polaca, única mujer que ganó dos veces el Premio Nobel.
A los 36 años el de física –compartido en 1903 con su esposo Pierre Curie y el Dr. Beckerel. En su caso el Premio Nobel le fue otorgado por el descubrimiento de la radioactividad.También recibió el Premio Nobel de Química ocho años después.Este mismo premio lo ganó en 1935 su hija Irene, compartiéndolo con el Dr. Joliot, su esposo.Fue modesta en extremo. Es que la modestia del genio contiene orgullo. Pero es siempre íntimo.
El segundo ejemplo, es menos conocido, es el de Florencia Nightingale. Todos hemos visto en hospitales o sanatorios, fotos de una joven con uniforme de enfermera, con una cofia blanca y con un dedo sobre los labios solicitando silencio Florencia fue brillante, tenaz y apasionada.Inglesa, su país tenía una alianza con Francia, que en ese momento, estaba en guerra con Rusia (Guerra de Crimea).
Viajó como voluntaria a Rusia donde organizó hospitales de emergencias en ambulancias, detuvo una epidemia e implantó con energía y tenacidad medidas sanitarias muy valiosas. Sentía que dar el corazón no es gastarlo, es revivirlo.
Sé que podría agregar cientos de nombres, como la Madre Teresa de Calcuta, Hellen Keller, que ciega sorda y muda pudo señalar caminos. Pero casi bastaría con decir que 14 mujeres lograron el Premio Nobel de Literatura. 2 norteamericanas y 13 de diferentes países.Y que fueron también mujeres, las que ocuparon las primeras magistraturas de sus países en Chile, en nuestro país y en Brasil en Latinoamérica. Y también Indira Gandy en la India, Golda Meier en Israel y la Dr. Ángela Mérkel en Alemania entre otras”.
Por ultimo Naroky recuerda “En 1980, hace un cuarto de siglo, 170 países firmaron una resolución de las Naciones Unidas, por las que se suprimía toda forma de discriminación contra las mujeres. No firmaron este acto de justicia, 8 países árabes. Tampoco Irán, país no árabe, aunque de religión musulmana. Y la sorpresa fue EE.UU. que tampoco suscribió la citada resolución de las Naciones Unidas. Pero fue un paso importante contra el injusto relegamiento de la mujer. Porque “donde no hay justicia para todos, no hay justicia”.
“Hay más de 20 países árabes y en 12 de ellos, un alto porcentaje de mujeres no pueden estudiar, votar o casarse, sin la aprobación de un integrante masculino de la familia. Estos aspectos, no implican un menoscabo al mundo árabe, que ha aportado al mundo su literatura, y su moral. Y en estas áreas, han enriquecido a la humanidad. Y no deseo omitirlo. Que en el siglo XXI subsistan estos anacronismos, debe ser para la mujer, una herida honda y permanente. Porque las heridas incomprensibles duelen más. Por otra parte, la injusticia siempre es inmoral. Aunque sea legal. Pero tengamos fe. Porque lo injusto puede vencer a lo justo en 100 batallas. Pero siempre perderá la última”.
