Con una agenda apretada que lo llevó a visitar tres países europeos en cuatro días, el presidente Alberto Fernández no pudo despegarse de la interna del Frente de Todos, pero logró plantear a los líderes que visitó su preocupación por el impacto de la guerra en Ucrania y la necesidad de unir esfuerzos para encontrar una solución pacífica al conflicto bélico.
En un viaje vertiginoso que incluyó paradas en España, Alemania y Francia, con estadías de 24 horas en cada ciudad visitada, el mandatario concretó encuentros con el presidente de España, Pedro Sánchez, en Madrid; con el canciller federal alemán, Olaf Scholz, en Berlín; y con el jefe de Estado de Francia, Emmanuel Macron, en París.
Según precisaron a Noticias Argentinas fuentes cercanas al Presidente, en todos los encuentros estuvo presente la preocupación por las consecuencias de la guerra en Ucrania, que para los líderes europeos estaría lejos de llegar a su fin.
Cuando el avión de Aerolíneas Argentinas partió de Buenos Aires el pasado lunes rumbo a España, desde la reducida comitiva que acompañó al Presidente afirmaron a NA que Fernández no tenía la intención de subirse al ring para pelearse con la vicepresidenta, Cristina Kirchner, sino que su objetivo era llevar a tres líderes europeos su preocupación por el impacto de la guerra en Ucrania.
Finalmente, el foco de la gira se desvirtuó cuando Alberto Fernández realizó una serie de declaraciones a distintos medios europeos respecto de la interna oficial, lo que terminó tomando protagonismo y modificando el foco de la gira presidencial.
Con el correr de las horas, el Gobierno buscó reencausar la agenda con la que se había proyectado el viaje relámpago al Viejo Continente, que tuvo como objetivo principal plantear las consecuencias que pueden sufrir los países de la periferia si la avanzada rusa en Ucrania continúa afectando la economía global.
Como presidente de la Celac, Alberto Fernández planificó su visita a Europa con la intención de llevar la voz de América Latina y el Caribe a las reuniones con los líderes europeos y plantear la necesidad de avanzar en la búsqueda de una solución pacífica en el conflicto bélico.
Fuentes oficiales destacaron que el Presidente realizó un llamado de atención sobre las consecuencias de la guerra en materia humanitaria y el impacto económico que produce, mucho mayor en los países emergentes, además de alertar sobre la posibilidad de que las consecuencias se acentúen en caso de que la guerra se extienda por varios meses más, algo que consideraron factible todos los líderes con los que se reunió.
Si el conflicto bélico no cesa, el impacto de la inflación se profundizará, las restricciones comerciales generarán un desabastecimiento de alimentos y hasta podría haber una “catástrofe alimentaria”, según describió uno de los líderes con los que se reunió el mandatario argentino.
En la primera etapa de la gira que lo llevó a la ciudad de Madrid, Fernández se reunió con Sánchez en el Palacio de La Moncloa, donde propuso a la Argentina como proveedor de alimentos y energía y dialogaron sobre la preocupación de que la guerra en Ucrania se extienda por mucho tiempo más.
La segunda escala del viaje presidencial transcurrió en territorio alemán, donde mantuvo un encuentro bilateral con el canciller federal germano en el que “trataron en profundidad” temas como la guerra en Ucrania y los vínculos comerciales entre Argentina y las empresas del país europeo.
En Berlín, el Presidente se reunió con Scholz en la sede de la Cancillería Federal, donde el anfitrión elogió a la Argentina como “un socio fiable en América Latina” y destacó la buena cooperación entre dos los países, según informó el Gobierno germano en un comunicado.
Despojado de los rebotes de la interna oficial, Fernández llegó a la capital francesa el pasado jueves al mediodía con gran expectativa respecto de la reunión con el presidente de Francia, Emmanuel Macron, cuyo cónclave sería el broche final de una agitada gira.
El ansiado encuentro con el francés se concretó este viernes al mediodía en el Palacio del Elíseo, donde Macron aseguró que el mandatario argentino es un “actor importante en este escenario internacional tormentoso”, en referencia a la crisis que atraviesa el mundo luego de la pandemia de coronavirus y tras la decisión del presidente de Rusia, Vladimir Putin, de invadir Ucrania.
“El mundo no soporta más muertes y la paz es urgente. Venimos a ponernos a disposición para ver en lo que podemos ayudar desde América Latina y para que el mundo recupere la paz”, enfatizó Fernández en una declaración conjunta con Macron, antes de que se concrete el tercer encuentro entre ambos.
Un integrante de la comitiva presidencial que participó del encuentro entre ambos mandatarios precisó a NA que durante el cónclave que se efectuó en uno de los jardines del Palacio, Fernández le planteó a Macron una serie de propuestas para avanzar en la búsqueda de una solución pacífica al conflicto bélico y el francés se comprometió a analizarlas con celeridad junto al resto de los líderes europeos.
Además, el jefe de Estado se trajo la promesa de Macron de visitar la Argentina en cuanto termine de resolver la conformación de su nuevo gabinete.
El Presidente emprendió su viaje al Viejo Continente junto al canciller, Santiago Cafiero; el secretario general de la Presidencia, Julio Vitobello; el secretario de Asuntos Estratégicos de la Presidencia, Gustavo Béliz; la secretaria de Relaciones Económicas Internacionales de la Cancillería, Cecilia Todesca; y la portavoz, Gabriela Cerruti.
El jefe de Estado regresó a la Argentina en la noche de este viernes proveniente de la ciudad de París, a donde a diferencia de los otros viajes que realizó como jefe de Estado, en esta oportunidad lo hizo sin la primera dama, Fabiola Yañez, dado que el pasado 11 de abril dio a luz a Francisco, el primer hijo de ambos.
