Profesionalizar la política sólo podría traer buenos resultados

La pandemia del nuevo coronavirus sacudió los cimientos de muchas de las verdades que dominaban el mundo antes del 2020. Somos protagonistas de cambios impensados en diversas aristas de la vida social, muchas de ellas, indispensables para una sociedad. Me centraré en dos: la educación y la política.
En estas líneas dejaré claro que, además de apuntar a la creatividad y la resiliencia de las futuras generaciones para salir de la crisis, será necesario pelear contra la falta de preparación científica en la ciencia más importante por su valor epistémico: la Política.
Los políticos deben ser los “guardianes” del valor primordial de una sociedad, del bien común de los ciudadanos, a fin de lograr asegurar una adecuada alimentación, calidad en los sistemas de salud y educación, y en garantizar trabajo y hábitat dignos.
Con la crisis que golpea al mundo desde hace casi un año, se puso de manifiesto que si no sabemos hacia dónde vamos, si no nos capacitamos, es probable que fracasemos. Debemos ser capaces de ver y enfrentar el futuro con profesionales cualificados en la actividad que convocan.
Para citar solamente un ejemplo reciente, la Organización de las Naciones Unidas (ONU) en un informe elaborado por el Programa de las Naciones Unidas para el Medio Ambiente (PNUMA), se afirmó que hay que reconsiderar la economía y la visión que se tiene del mundo para hacer frente a la emergencia climática y medioambiental. Necesitaremos líderes que miren hacia allá y no se queden en el “barro” local.
Es para ello que hace falta la profesionalización de la política, que es el motor que las naciones necesitan para salir del subdesarrollo. La política es la ciencia más importante, desde la epistemología, por ser la encargada de calificar el destino de las sociedades democráticas y a los ciudadanos, hacia el éxito o el fracaso.
Esta realidad compleja que vivimos nos obliga a pensar en la urgencia, pero sin descuidar el largo plazo. Esta situación atraviesa múltiples factores, incidencias, diversos sectores y necesidades. Las soluciones también deben ser pensadas en este enfoque. Son muchos los países que históricamente han podido luchar contra sus crisis, y no debemos dejar de pensar que la Argentina también puede y podrá hacerlo.
En las crisis no existen las casualidades, sino las “causalidades”. Debemos capacitar a las futuras generaciones para que estén preparadas para superar la incertidumbre de la nueva normalidad post-pandemia. Colocar a la política como vértice de la superación y realización de nuestros ciudadanos y de nuestra nación.
Me gusta decir que en las crisis los capaces crecen y los mediocres fenecen, y que no existen las casualidades, sino las “causalidades”. Debemos preparar a las futuras generaciones para que estén preparadas para la incertidumbre de la nueva normalidad post-pandemia. Ser capaces de cimentar un soporte fenomenal: colocar a la política como vértice de la superación y realización de nuestros ciudadanos y de nuestra nación.
